Glamorous, glowing skin is certainly not a stranger to Melanie Mills . The Emmy Award-winning makeup artist (credits include Dancing With the Stars, Nickelodeon, and the daytime TV show, The Real) is the creator of Gleam Body Radiance, a face and body makeup that promises to deliver a flawless, skin perfecting glow to every complexion.
While heading the makeup department for DWTS, Mills created the Gleam line as a way to achieve impeccable skin on the cast. With five shades currently in the line, there is guaranteed to be something for every complexion. The Body Radiance collection also extends into shimmer powders (Radiant Dust) and lip glosses (Lip Radiance).
Last year, Melanie teamed up with YouTube beauty personality, Sonjdra Deluxe to create a new Gleam shade. Peach Deluxe was the result of the duo’s collaboration, and is the fifth addition to the Body Radiance collection. Not surprisingly, it was a huge hit when it made its debut towards the end of 2016. As a fan of both Melanie and Sonjdra, I was really excited to give this a try, and am happy to report that I absolutely love this product!
Though glittery cheekbones have been en vogue for the last few seasons, I generally prefer a subtle, satin glow. Which is exactly what Peach Deluxe (and the rest of Melanie Mills Hollywood line) gives to the skin. The finish and texture are pure perfection. Unlike some highlighting products, it’s not infused with chunky glitter, which is something I definitely appreciated. It has a slight amount of shimmer and leaves the skin with a natural “glow from within” – the perfect amount of radiance! It’s not heavy or sticky on the skin, either, and blends effortlessly. The best part? Once it’s dry, it stays put all day. It has a light vanilla scent which I love, and thankfully, isn’t an issue for my sensitive skin.
By now, I’m sure it’s obvious that this product is great on its own, but it layers beautifully with other highlighting products if you are in the mood for a more intense glow. My favorite way to use Peach Deluxe is to apply on top of my primer, then add foundation over top. It truly does make the skin look flawless!
Now, let’s talk price point. . .
At $15 for an ounce and $40 for 3.4 ounces, this product is on the pricier side. However, I don’t use this product daily, so I see it lasting for quite a while.
Pricing aside, I give this product five stars! It is a great addition to any makeup collection and very handy to have in your artist kit if you are a pro makeup artist. What are your thoughts? Comment below!
