Recap: Best Moments of #Grammys2017

Another award show has come and gone.

Last night was the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards, hosted by James Corden, and viewers were treated to performances by Adele, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, & Beyonce, to name a few. And in typical superstar fashion, they left us with plenty to gab about. So, ICYMI, here is a quick recap of some memorable moments of the evening – enjoy!

Demi Lovato

Goddess alert! Donning a curve-hugging embellished gown, gleaming skin, and flowing waves (courtesy of hair stylist, Clyde Haygood), it’s safe to say Demi slayed the red carpet (then again, what else is new?) To achieve Lovato’s sultry look, makeup artist Jill Powell used an arsenal of products from Armani Beauty.

Why, hello, Adele! The night’s 5-time GRAMMY winner kept it classic with a smokey eye, paired with her signature jet black winged liner, a chiseled cheek and nude pout. I always just ADORE Michael Ashton’s work on her, and tonight was no exception. The look was stunning, and went perfectly with her gown!

Twinning with the red carpet totally works for Carrie Underwood! The American Idol alum let her Elie Madi gown speak for itself. Hair & makeup artist, Melissa Schleicher swept Underwood’s golden tresses into a chic, face-framing updo, and rounded out the look with smoldering eyes.

Chrissy Teigen & John Legend prove that you can’t ever go wrong with black, especially when it’s worn with a twist. The “Love Me Now” singer popped a hint of color underneath his black suit, while Chrissy flaunted her svelte figure in an edgy cut-out gown. Sultry eyes, a sharp contour, nude lips, and textured waves finished off the look.

And the performances were just as captivating. . .

Adele gave an emotional tribute to late singer, George Michael.

Accompanied by Daft Punk, The Weeknd performed hit song, “I Feel It Coming”, from his latest album, Starboy.

Not surprisingly, Beyonce’s ethereal, soulful performance was highly anticipated among her fans.
